Eskimo in the sand “Snippets of Songs”

I had to record this on the go hence why it’s so fuzzy and it maxes out heaps but you get the idea. It’s all about just getting a song out everyday.

Which brings me to my next point. I’ve decided to up my game. I’m going to be putting ten songs up per day.

I really want to be a songwriter so I figure one year with 365 songs isn’t enough. One year with 3650 songs is much better. The odds of me writing some good tunes will increase. I wish I had time to record all of them nicely – but I just don’t because it takes like a good week – to a month just to record one song. So you just get my demo live cut. Enough for you to understand the song. Anyway, see you tomorrow with ten songs!!

Love eb

Anyway here are the lyrics for today’s song:

If you ever find yourself in blankenburg

Promise me you’ll sit and watch the sea

Everyone dressed up in warm clothes

Wearing Wellington’s on the beach.

If you ever get the chance in the rain

To sit in the surf cafe

Listen to footloose on the radio play

Waste the day

Im an Eskimo in the sand

Trying not to get my shoes damp

life is drowned out by the wind

But every day I come back again

I’m an Eskimo in the sand

Rugged up in a foreign land

life is drowned out by the wind

But every day I come back again

I’m an Eskimo

Eskimo in the sand

If you ever want a sad happiness

Be sure to come

To the Belgium beach in winter time

It’s Not saved by any sun

Chorus again.
