Keeping fit whilst travelling

The hardest thing for me is being motivated – it’s really difficult to wake up in the morning knowing that you could be sleeping and put on your trainers and put on your workout clothes and get ready to go for a run especially when it’s negative degrees outside or it’s like 5° outside and ridiculously cold. It’s that satisfaction though of when you finish – knowing that you’ve done the 10 km and that you’ve pushed yourself to get motivated and get out of bed and just do it.

Today was definitely one of those days it was freezing cold it was not bucketing with rain but it was spitting heavily with rain and I just didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything I set my alarm for 8 AM I didn’t get out of bed until 11 AM and then I was like right I have to do this.

Now I’m back in bed I’ve got half an hour before I have to get ready for work and I’m contemplating taking a nap I’m not even typing this blog I’m dictating it with my phone like speaking into my phone and it’s typing it for me I am that tired but it was so worth it – going over those hills and across rivers and oh I also bought a quiche Lorraine from Sainsburys it was 1 pound and it was amazing it totally made my day 100 hundred percent better but anyway now I’m going to get some sleep.
